Gaynell E. Leal Funeral Director/Embalmer

Gaynell attended Delgado Community College where she received an Associate of Science in Funeral Science and Arts in June 2003. She continued her education at the Community College of the Air Force (CCAF) where she received an Associate Degree in Business Administration/Management Transport MGT. In 2003 she completed the Business Entrepreneurship Program from the College of Business and Public Administration at Southern University of New Orleans and received a BS.

Gaynell has been a dedicated member of the PFS family since 2007. Gaynell is currently serving our country as a Master Sergeant in the United States Air National Guard. She is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She is the mother of 2 children, and she enjoys spending time with family and friends.

Chavez Lee Funeral Director/Embalmer/Crematory Operator

Born and raised in New Orleans. Chavez is the son of Wilma Mercadel and Alvin Lee. He was educated in the Catholic School system and graduated from Redeemer-Seaton High School class of 1996. Chavez later earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Herzing University in 2002. He furthered his education by earning a degree in Funeral Services Education from Delgado Community College in 2009.

Chavez began his career in the Funeral Industry in 2009. In March of 2014 he joined the team at Professional Funeral Services. In 2015 Chavez obtained his Retort Operator license.

Chavez is the father of 2 children. After the death of his father in 2017 he stepped up to be an active big brother and father figure to his 9-year-old brother. Chavez volunteers as a youth football coach and assists with other seasoned youth sports with the New Orleans Recreation Department. Chavez also spends time mentoring children of all ages.

Bradford LeViege Funeral Director/Embalmer

Bradford was born and raised in New Orleans, LA.  He graduated from McMain Magnet High School in 1989.  He went on to Xavier University of Louisiana and obtained a B.S. in Mathematics in the Spring of 1993.  Bradford then relocated to San Bernardino, CA where he taught Math for 23 years in the San Bernardino City Unified School District.  He returned to New Orleans to attend Delgado Community College.  He graduated in May of 2018 with his A.A.S. in Funeral Services.

Raven M Williams-Mims Funeral Director/Embalmer

Raven was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. She is a graduate of McDonogh 35 Senior High School, Class of 2008. Raven continued her education graduating from Delgado Community College in May 2015. She became a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer April 13, 2016. Raven joined the PFS Family in June 2015 and has remained an important member since.

Anissa Barabino D’Vine Event Facility Manager

Anissa’s natural charm and enthusiasm is infectious. Everyone who encounters her can feel the love she has for her profession. This charm, enthusiasm and organization was a perfect fit for Professional Funeral Services. Anissa joined the PFS family in June of 2014.

Anissa is a graduate of Xavier University Preparatory School in New Orleans, LA. Anissa and her husband enjoy spending time with their two children, family and friends.

Kirk D. Bethley Attendant

Kirk was born and raised in Baton Rouge, La. He is the son of Darlene Bethley; proudly reared by his grandparents, Percy and Olivia T. Bethley. He was educated in the Baker school system and attended Baker High School. He is an associate minister in training at Greater King David Baptist Church under the leadership of Dr. John E. Montgomery II. Kirk’s biggest dream since childhood is become a licensed Funeral Director.


His favorite scripture is Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who give me strength.”

Eddie P. Cross IV Attendant

Eddie has been an Ordained Minister of the Gospel of Jesus Christ for the past 19 years. He is an entrepreneur and a licensed barber. All the skills and experience Eddie possess plays an important role as an Attendant at Professional Funeral Services. His professionalism and attention to detail is impeccable. Eddie has worked at PFS for the past 7 years.

Joan Gilbert Receptionist

Joan retired from Camelot School in 2012 and joined Professional Funeral Services soon afterwards. She is the mother of 3 daughters; grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 3.

Joan enjoys cooking, sewing and reading. She finds joy in being a service to her fellow man. Her fear is recognizing a need and not assisting where she can.

Keimond Trimaine Gibson

Keimond is a graduate from Delgado Community College where he obtained his EMT-B. He furthered his career at Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Services, where he graduated with honors and became a member of the National Funeral Service Honors Society. Keimond joined PFS family in July of 2020 and continues to meet the needs of families with empathy, traditions and individualized care. He is a licensed retort operator and currently fulfilling his internship to become a licensed Funeral Director/Embalmer.

Malik Gibson Crematory Operator

Malik Gibson, son of Malcolm and Nicole Gibson, was born in New Orleans in 1998.  Malik is an honored 2016 graduate of St. Augustine High School. He is now pursuing a degree in Economics from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. Malik has been affiliated with Professional Funeral Services since its inception; he serves in various capacities around the funeral home. Most notably, he is a newly licensed Louisiana Crematory Retort Operator.

Patricia Gibson Finance Director

Patricia Gibson attended Dillard University of Louisiana where she received a B.A. degree in Chemistry.  She worked as a Chemist at the ExxonMobil Refinery in Chalmette, La for 30 years.  After 30 years of employment with the ExxonMobil Refinery, Patricia retired.  She has worked as the Financial Manager for 15 years at Studio G Dance and Gymnastics Company.  Patricia recently joined the team at Professional Funeral Services as a Financial Manager.

Sandra Reed Executive Finance Assistant

Sandra retired from Entergy New Orleans in 2013. In June 2014, Sandra became a part of the Professional Funeral Services Family. She is a graduate of George W. Carver Senior High School and she attended Meadows Draughan College here in New Orleans. Although Sandra is one of the official bookkeepers at PFS she also lends her years of experience in many other aspects. Sandra serves as an Attendant on many Funeral Services and she assist families in their time of need.

She is a member of Greater Evergreen Baptist Church. She enjoys spending time with her family and spoiling her grandchildren.

Lyndsey Douglas Satcher Crematory Operator and Operations Specialist

Born and raised in the 7th Ward of New Orleans, Louisiana. She graduated from Warren Eastern Sr. High School in 2004. She attended Southern University in Baton Rouge Louisiana in the fall of 2004 and 2005 majoring in Kinesiology. After Hurricane Katrina she moved to Houston Texas. After one year, she returned to New Orleans to fulfill her dreams of becoming a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer. She always knew that’s what she wanted to do since she was a child. Lyndsey fell in love with the unique NOLA culture of funerals. She began her journey to be in the funeral service program in 2010. In 2018, she returned to school, and in the fall of 2018 graduated from Delgado Community College with an associate degree in Applied Sciences concentration Funeral Service Education. She began working at PFS in January 2018. Currently doing her internship and has since acquired her Cremation License.

Lyndsey is the mother of 3 children. She enjoys traveling, attending concerts, shopping, swimming and spending time with family and friends.

Brian Williams Funeral Attendant, Crematory Operator

Brian Williams was born on November 24, 1970 to Mr. Lionel Williams and the late Mrs. Lessie Williams.  Mr. Williams attended L.W. Higgins High School and furthered his education at the James Madison Academy and Delgado Community College where he studied Business Management.  Mr. Williams is currently enrolled at the Dallas Institute of Funeral Services.  Brian has worked in sales, marketing and management for over 30 years.  Brian has been a member of the PFS Family for over 6 years.  He loves to serve families and has a great passion for what he does.  Brian always goes the extra mile.  Brians favorite motto - Actions Speak Louder Than Words!
